Originally, it was the Northern California and San Francisco Memorial Scholarship Foundation. Now, with a new name and board, it aims to support managers and students.It combined the old foundation's funds with a donation fromThe Golden State Chapter. The Foundation's board manages its current assets for maximum earnings. The interest earned and additional fundraising efforts support annual funds for recipients.As an independent organization from The Golden State Chapter, we recognize the value the membership can derive from the Chapter and Foundation whose visions, though similar, are not the same. The Foundation is designed to augment the members experience and focus on continuing education and professional development.
